Meet Dr. Krell

Dr. John Krell

Dr Krell was born and raised in Calgary Alberta and attended university at the University of Alberta (U of A) in Edmonton where he received his Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree. He then took an extra year with courses in radiation genetics and Microbiology. Upon his acceptance into dentistry he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree and practiced in Sherwood Park for a year and then moved to this beautiful community of Campbell River. Dr Krell is also a Fellow of the Academy of Dentistry International (FADI).

He was elected for two terms as Vice-President of the College of Dental Surgeons of BC, and has served on various College committees over the years. Dr Krell helped to establish the British Columbia Dental Association, (BCDA) and ultimately chaired its inaugural meeting. 
Internationally Dr Krell has participated in several medical/dental mission trips to third world countries with the Christian Medical and Dental Society of Canada. 

Locally Dr Krell has been active in his church, serving as a deacon and elder and teaching adult and youth Sunday school classes. He and his wife Carolynne were involved in establishing the Campbell River Christian School and served on its board for a number of years. Dr Krell has also served as President of the BC chapter of the federal political party the CHP, and is a past president of the local Right to Life group. 

John has a special interest in the scientific and biblical aspects surrounding the Creation/Evolution debate and the truthfulness and reliability of the bible, Gods Holy Word. He has lectured extensively on this topic in Canada and the United States.

John and Carolynne are happily married and have seven adult children, three still in university, and six grandchildren.
